The 184 Things I do to EARN my Professional Fee...

KEEPING IT REAL...

I'm not sure when it became acceptable or by perception to expect a Real Estate Professional to provide their services FREE of charge, but times have changed and now more than ever, serious Sellers and Buyers are well informed and understand the importance and value of a seasoned, ethical, reliable well informed and highly knowledgeable Real Estate Professional.

Whether it is meeting with a potential Seller or spending countless hours, weeks or months with a Buyer to later find that for one reason or another they did not move forward with a purchase or sale of a home, requires a level of commitment, expense, time away from family, limited personal time, interrupted vacations and not to mention, a profession that requires that you make yourself available for no less than 12 hours a day, 7 days a week, regardless of holidays, religious and family demands. And with no guarantee of a paycheck for time, major expenses, knowledge, experience and rigorous ongoing training and mandated continuing education classes in order to maintain an active license.

So why become a REALTOR?  Because it is a passion to help others, there is a level of fulfillment, joy and accomplishment when you've traveled this journey with a homeowner or buyer. You must have a deep LOVE for real estate, a true passion. It is one of the toughest professions but one of the most rewarding in all ways.

To me Real Estate is emotional and psychological and then it's followed by economics. Rarely does one buy or sell a home where their personal lives have not changed in one way or another. For some it is the happiest of times, for others, the saddest. When I am asked to be part of this journey, it is an honor that I do not take for granted. To be given such TRUST means the world to me.  It's truly a gift!

Anyone can open a door to a house and the house sells itself, what I offer is SERVICE, Expertise, Real Estate Knowledge in legal, marketing, advertising, skills that took years to master just to mention a few key roles.  My sole purpose is to help you obtain your desired results in less time, less stress and where you are positioned to succeed regardless of the current market.

I have created a brochure to include but not limited to over (184) tasks that I as a Real Estate professional provide when working with a client. This booklet will highlight very important duties, from the smallest detail to the more complex.  As a Licensed professional, I am called upon to assist in so many other ways that far exceed these listed tasks with every transaction being unique, therefore, as a skilled and highly effective real estate agent I will be your most valued asset during and post the sale or purchase of your home.

To receive your copy, please email me your name, phone, address, email and request to receive the book. Your information is never shared with anyone. Email: [email protected]

There’s no doubt that each licensed Real Estate Agent will go about their daily business a little differently when compared to other agents. There are many standard day-to-day processes and procedures, and then there are other transactions that require a little extra effort and finesse to successfully close.

That being said, there is an abundance of common tasks that all Real Estate Agents do to earn their professional fee and complete a successful residential real estate transaction. The following list includes typical tasks we execute, certain research steps, and many procedures and processes that need to go smoothly right through to the closing ... and beyond!

Most importantly, these 184 tasks reflect the level of skill, attention to detail and knowledge that’s required in today's real estate world.

Why does this matter? Because it underscores the importance of getting the right help and guidance from someone who has the right experience. That someone is a Licensed Real Estate Agent, in my case, I am a Licensed Real Estate Associate Broker, the highest level of education and New York Department of State license. My license required me to complete a certain amount of transactions in order to qualify. With additional Real Estate schooling, and additional Department of State testing to ensure that I am able to meet the demands called upon me as an Associate Broker.

As an Associate Broker, I may choose to work under the umbrella of a larger company (as I do now) or, I have the ability to open my own company. A salesperson does not have the additional education, testing or benefits of an Associate Real Estate Broker. Furthermore, every two years, 23 Hours of continuing education is required to maintain my license. During this time, rigorous training, education, webinars, in-person classes in all matters pertaining to Real Estate including Real Estate law which is an important factor, although we may not ("practice"), knowledge and staying up-to-date is fundamental.

Many homeowners or homebuyers don’t fully understand the true value that a Real Estate Agent can provide throughout the entire real estate transaction. This value ensures the results you desire in a timely manner.

While this is already quite a long list, many agents may even provide a variety of additional services! Why? Because every real estate transaction is a little bit different than the last.

Some transactions won’t require all of these steps before closing, but because unexpected situations and complications can happen quickly, it’s far better to work with an agent that can make an intelligent and informed decision on what to do next.
