The first thing I noticed about Lovelee was her genuine warmth and interest. I
felt like I was the only client she needed to help navigate the twists and turns of
selling a house. Lovelee is expressive and very detailed; I also appreciated her
direct approach and her patience. As I got to know Lovelee better, it was very
clear that she was fully knowledgeable about everything we needed to do to get our Dad's house on the market and sold. Need a few things done before showing? Tap into her network of people who can do whatever needs to be done, at reasonable prices. I was astonished when Lovelee even did some of the work herself, like painting some areas that needed sprucing up, and fixing a radiator cover that didn't pass muster. We had pretty much emptied the house, but Lovelee was able to "stage" the house with a few pieces of furniture we hadn't removed, plus things she brought over to enhance the look she created. She is truly a genius at this, and did it without spending a single dime. The house looked amazing. When Lovelee hosted our open house, it was so well organized that several people complimented her, saying they had never been to an open house like it. There was a "play table" set up for children where they could color and keep each other company, so their parents could focus on actually touring the house without distractions. Everyone was warmly welcomed, but Lovelee didn't "hover;" she simply observed and made herself available for any questions that arose. A lot of agents I’ve encountered make the mistake of "guiding" potential buyers through a property, pointing out each room and its function. I don’t believe these agents realize what a huge distraction that is. That it actually causes prospective buyers
to focus on the agent’s narrative, rather than focusing on the house itself and
possibly becoming really interested in it. Once we started showing the house, Lovelee got us multiple offers. This is where Lovelee's expertise and experience really paid off. She was able to sort through the validity of various offers, and help us choose which offer would bring us the best value and why. Two of these offers were very solid with good terms, and above our asking price. With the utmost integrity, Lovelee's compassionate guidance got us to the closing table without any worries that some deal-breaking thing had been overlooked. She knows every possible way a sale can be lost, and what to do up front to avoid that. We went to closing with a wonderful family who clearly wanted to make Dad's house their home. So, beyond the finances, we also had some emotional closure in the knowledge that Dad's house was going to people who would really appreciate and love it. Lovelee is far and above the best real estate professional I've ever met, and I've met a few. Lovelee is truly in a class
by herself. And with over 25 years of experience, there is simply no one better.
