Important Documents To Have Ready For The Realtor & Attorney
Prior to listing your home, I will need copies of the following. Please keep your originals ready and available for your attorney.
1. Deed
2. Survey
3. Certificate of occupancy (C/O) of Existing Use
4. Title Report
5. Tax Bill - Most Recent
6. The Name of your REAL ESTATE Attorney
7. Utility Bills - Most Recent
8. Age of Major Components
example: roof, heating system, Can system, etc.
9. Permits on additions or remodels
FYI: Make sure your permits have been satisfied and closed with the town. There are times when you receive a C/O but the permit might still be open. This can result in a delay in your closing.
